Mona

Raw materials, pure design, back to basics: our mantra (www.monawatches.com).

MONA is the acronym of Montres Originales Nardon et Ardilouze*. The company was born during summer 2012, when a watch-maker and a designer met in the coastal town of Soulac sur Mer, near Bordeaux.

For weeks on, MONA grew slowly and naturally from conversations, drawings, walks and readings to finally become what it is today. In the meantime, third partner Alexandre Jugla brought his financial and marketing expertise to the company.

The team pays thorough attention to each and every step of the manufacturing of the watches, from the first draft on paper to the final assembled piece. Thus, each part comes from the workshops of European manufacturers whose savoir-faire is well renowned in the world of watch-making. Mona cares about finishing and perceived quality, using noble materials that grant the products a sincere beauty.

The watches are conceived and assembled in Bordeaux by the designer and the watch-maker. The watches are assembled there in the workshop, right upon the completion of customers’ orders.
